Position: Director of Revenue Cycle Management Location: Large hospital organization in Southeast Texas.
Requirements: BS in Accounting or Finance, with 10+ years of strong Revenue Cycle Management leadership in a general acute care setting. Must have significant accomplishments and a steady work history. At least 6+ years of director-level experience. Must have general acute care hospital experience in revenue cycle management.
Responsibilities include overseeing hospital revenue, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, physician clinic accounting and billing, among others. The organization has over 500 providers and more than 80 FTEs.
The role provides strategic leadership for all revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, coding policies, and performance.
Focus on customer needs, satisfaction, and optimal reimbursement.
Coordinate with clinical departments to meet goals and address issues promptly, ensuring department satisfaction and resolving AR effectively.
Develop a collaborative relationship with the Director of the SBO to resolve patient, practice, or provider issues.
Additional duties as assigned by the Vice President.
