Travel Mammography Technologist - Mammography

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least one year of experience and active ARRT (M) certification for a day shift assignment.Job Details•Work in a dedicated Breast Center within an acute care Level III trauma hospital,•Perform 15-20 mammography exams per day with screening and diagnostic mammograms,•No weekend or on-call requirements,•Technologist will not float outside the Breast Center,•Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM,•Hologic equipment experience preferred,•Charting is preferred in Epic EMR,Job Requirements•Minimum of 1 year of recent mammography technologist experience,•Current BLS certification required,•Active ARRT (M) and SCRQSA (M) required,•South Carolina state license must be in hand prior to start; license required if applicable,•Radiation badge required and must be provided by the agency,•Experience in screening and diagnostic mammograms required; experience with stereo biopsy, breast ultrasound, and ultrasound biopsies is a plus,•Must provide documentation such as SSN and driver's license for consideration,•Experience with Epic EMR preferred,Additional Information•First-time travelers will be considered,•Previous permanent staff and PRN staff must be separated from the system for one year before returning as a traveler,•All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application; RTO beyond 7 days or including holidays may require additional approval,•Teal top and black bottom scrubs are required,•Parking is provided free of charge,•All candidates may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November),•Modules must be completed prior to start and report to facility,•A 60-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate,),•hash,:• ,
