About The Position Job Title: Mammography Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year required License: South Carolina state license required Certifications: BLS; ARRT (M); SCRQSA (M) Must-Have: Experience in screening and diagnostic mammograms. Experience with stereo biopsy, breast ultrasound, and ultrasound biopsies is a plus but not required. Clienttion badge must be provided by the agency. Description: Position/Specialty: Mammography Tech. Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Daily caseload: 15-20 mammograms. Weekend requirement: No. On-call requirement: No. Clinician will stay within the Breast Center. First-timers accepted. Preferred experience with Hologic equipment. Facility is allowed to call off one shift every two weeks. Travelers should be aware of hurricane season from June through November. During hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility need. The facility prioritizes candidates with a valid South Carolina license in hand. Candidates with a pending license may be considered if proof of application is provided. Traveler will not be cleared to report until the South Carolina license is issued and active. Modules are non-billable, with an average of four hours spent on modules. Module hours are included in NBO hours and must be completed prior to start.
