Job Title: Press OperatorJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Cleanroom Press Operator, where you will play a crucial role in preparing and operating metal forming machinery to produce high-quality components. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining equipment and ensuring the quality of our products.ResponsibilitiesAlways follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Prepare and operate metal forming machinery based on job instructions, technical drawings, and specifications.Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards using established inspection methods.Perform routine maintenance on equipment following Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) guidelines.Keep accurate records and complete required documentation.Evaluate and repair damaged sheet metal when it is cost-efficient.Update and modify sheet metal parts to reflect the latest design changes or engineering updates when feasible.Safely initiate, halt, and configure press brake machines for operation.Uphold 6S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) across all work areas.Operate additional machinery as needed to support production.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading blueprints and understanding technical drawings and schematics.Knowledge of tool selection for specific parts being manufactured.Basic math proficiency for fundamental operations.Familiarity with basic computer operations and software.Mechanical aptitude with an inclination toward understanding mechanical systems and processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with press brake, blueprint reading, machine operation, calipers, punch press, sheet metal, fabrication, assembly, CNC, brake, hand tools, printing press, and press operation.Why Work Here?Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth.
