As an Expert Cyber Security Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, you will play a pivotal role in capturing and refining critical information security requirements, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into our information technology components and systems. You will assist in leading development teams dedicated to designing and enhancing information systems, particularly in upgrading legacy systems. Conducting in-depth product research and supporting Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) activities, you will identify the most suitable security solutions tailored to client needs. Your responsibilities extend to leading the development of system concepts and translating regulatory conditions into effective security designs. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation and documentation of Security Architectures and Roadmaps while overseeing the efforts of Senior, Mid, and Junior-level Cyber Security Engineers, helping to foster a strong collaborative culture and high-quality standards throughout the organization. Strong analytical skills are essential for evaluating complex security requirements and identifying effective solutions. Proficiency in system architecture and design is crucial, as well as the ability to translate regulatory compliance into actionable security measures. Effective leadership and communication capabilities will enhance collaboration with development teams and facilitate the successful execution of projects. Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Expert level experience as a Cyber Security Engineer. Expert working experience in government or industry within Cyber Security Engineering. DoD 8570 Level II (IASAE) certification compliance. Desired Skills and Experience: Expert working experience in government or industry leading enterprise-level cyber security efforts involving architecting, designing, development, and configuration of cloud and on premise based systems and software. Experience engineering Cyber Security solutions using Cloud Based Technology such as: Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), On-demand self-service, Broad network access, Resource pooling, Rapid elasticity, Measured Service, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
