Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned and passionate Senior Events Manager to help couples realize the wedding of their dreams. This key leadership role will oversee the planning, coordination, and flawless execution of our weddings and events, ensuring every guest leaves with lifelong memories. What You’ll Do Event Leadership & Guest Experience Serve as the primary on-site leader for weddings and events, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish

Act as a professional and reassuring point of contact for clients and vendors on event days

Inspire, motivate, and lead a talented team through pre-shift meetings, walkthroughs, and live event coordination

Champion Pippin Hill’s mission of delivering extraordinary hospitality and beautiful experiences

Operational & Financial Oversight Plan, organize, and execute detailed event schedules, including staffing and vendor coordination

Monitor event-specific P&Ls, labor budgets, and inventory to drive efficiencies and meet financial targets

Lead weekly team meetings to review upcoming events and continuously improve event performance

Analyze event costs to identify and implement cost-optimization strategies

Team Building & Staff Development Recruit, train, and coach a best-in-class banquet team

Oversee assistant event managers and support their professional growth

Create a culture of collaboration, respect, and high performance

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Technology & Administration Confidently use TripleSeat and the Google Suite to manage event details and communication

Maintain accurate event records and oversee timekeeping, scheduling, and reporting

Who You Are A confident, hands-on event professional with at least 2 years of event management experience

A proactive problem-solver with an exceptional eye for detail

Passionate about creating epic guest experiences for clients who have invested months (or years!) planning their dream day

Skilled at leading, motivating, and guiding a diverse team

Able to stand for extended periods (9–12 hours), lift up to 40 pounds, and carry trays of food/beverages

Flexible and available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
