Description: What you’ll be doing – The Project Manager is directly responsible for managing client relationships and team members on assigned projects resulting in on time and profitable projects. The Project Manager will promote total customer satisfaction by acting as the liaison between clients and field management and subcontractors to ensure the project work is completed per customer expectations. This a dynamic environment where individuals are encouraged to take on bigger roles and grow quickly. What you’ll be responsible for – Manage all construction activities and coordinate work and schedules with project team and subcontractors Review engineering and architectural drawings and specifications to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and schedules Issue sub-contracts and purchase orders as required; recommend the selection of and oversee hired subcontractors Establish, track and manage project schedules with appropriate software to ensure timelines are met successfully Ensure project financial success by establishing and managing project budgets Create and maintain organized and current project files Project cost assembly and tracking including, but not limited to, Potential Change Orders, Owner Change Orders and Subcontractor Change Orders Attend project coordination and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings Qualifications
What you’ll need - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction project management for mid to large sized General Contractor Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project Proficiency with Procore construction project management software preferred but not required Proficiency with industry practices, processes, and standards Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organization skills, capable of managing multiple projects Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Professional and courteous demeanor and ability to interact with clients Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required.
