Litigation Associate

Job Overview A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its New Jersey office. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in sophisticated commercial litigation. Location Duties Handle complex commercial litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions. Manage client relationships and communicate directly with clients on case strategy and progress. Prepare for and assist in trial preparations, including depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to ensure effective case management. Contribute to the development and implementation of litigation strategies for clients. Requirements 3+ years of general experience in commercial litigation. New Jersey Bar admission required. Strong academic credentials. Proven ability to handle complex litigation matters. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice law in New Jersey. Skills Strong litigation skills, including drafting, research, and oral advocacy. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients and colleagues.
