The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the complete direction, supervision, and management of warehouse operations, inventory management, personnel & process management, fill rates and facility management. The Warehouse Manager will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the warehouse team, and provide timely and accurate order fulfillment. A successful Warehouse Manager utilizes leadership and motivational ability, time management, and organizational skills to ensure optimum performance of the operations. Strong mathematical and analytical skills are necessary to plan and fulfill orders as well as proven management of material handling. This leader must lead by example as it relates to proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance and warehouse best practices. Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory levels and develop processes to ensure that materials, supplies, and equipment that are needed daily are delivered on time to support our operations Coordinate regular physical counts of materials and supplies and reconciling with electronic systems Become an expert in our ERP and WMS systems and drive improvement in how we leverage them Work closely with Purchasing to coordinate and execute all inbound receipts and resolve any discrepancies Work closely with Supply Chain Management to coordinate and execute all outbound shipments Ensures that the warehouse team quickly and accurately fills all orders Owns and maintains condition of warehouses by planning, organizing and designing a system that works in ensuring accuracy and efficiency Train team to ensure the warehouse team safely operates MHE (material handling equipment) Own cleaning and maintaining MHE (material handling equipment) in warehouses Develop a team of individuals and reinforce all company policies, procedures, and culture Achieve financial objectives through maintaining a departmental budget Qualifications 2 or more years working in a warehouse supervisory role, leading, and developing a team to achieve goals and objectives 3-5 years of warehouse operational experience Ability to thrive and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Successful track record of working well with others within a team environment Must be able to become certified and regularly operate material handling equipment (forklifts and trucks) Job Description: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the complete direction, supervision, and management of warehouse operations, inventory management, personnel & process management, fill rates and facility management.
