Overview
Creative Director, Basketball Recruiting Gonzaga University. This position supports the men's and women's basketball programs through development, implementation, and execution of a year-round recruiting operations plan, in collaboration with Marketing & Creative Service and Communications staff to promote the basketball programs through creative content for digital media. Responsibilities Content Creation: Create and produce digital content for recruiting efforts across all digital media platforms to communicate the Gonzaga brand for men's and women's basketball prospective student-athletes. Create content to enhance personal brands. Ensure content adheres to Gonzaga brand standards. Assist with videoboard graphics and elements. Assist with athletic department media day (photo/video shoots). Develop storytelling for long-form video concepts. Basketball Recruiting Operations: Primary contact for content for recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Coordinate digital recruiting efforts (official/unofficial visits, home visits, recruiting correspondence, travel). Manage photo/video shoots for recruit visits. Stay current on NCAA rules. Social Media/Digital Creation: Oversee and execute men's and women's basketball social media accounts. Create/post content. Participate in social media education related to Name, Image, Likeness. Develop a student intern creative team to enhance social media and recruiting. NCAA Compliance: Comply with all NCAA rules and regulations; acknowledge compliance as part of evaluation.
Qualifications
Educational Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Years Of Related Experience: 1 year; In lieu of education, equivalent professional experience (1 year per year of education) Certifications: Valid driver's license Skills & Abilities: Bachelor's degree; 1-3 years of experience in marketing/communications/graphic design or related field; Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
