located at Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA. City Light & Power (CLP) is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team at our client site, Joint Base Lewis McChord. CLP supports federal government, military institutions, municipalities, and major utilities with financing, design, engineering, construction, and ongoing operations and maintenance for electrical transmission and distribution systems, as well as outdoor lighting. Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, daily inventory accuracy, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Direct the flow of materials for optimal productivity while maintaining quality, inventory accuracy, and safety. Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements; advise management on actions needed. Safeguard warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring security procedures. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling with data storage system, and reporting to Finance. Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning layouts, inspecting equipment, and issuing repair/replacement work orders. Ensure safety policy compliance and manage all inventory processes. Prepare job packages for crew and contractor work on base; maintain tool inventory and PPE on site. Skills and Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in warehouse operations. Forklift experience required; CDL required to handle delivery of equipment and materials. Ability to work without direct supervision; customer-oriented with professional demeanor. Knowledge of electrical utility work/equipment preferred. Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to multitask; excellent oral and written communication skills. Work Authorization and Security
US Citizen required; must obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required. Compensation and Benefits
