Overview
Information Technology Workforce Training Program Director at Trident Technical College. The IT Workforce Training Program Director will lead and manage the continuing education programs within the Computer Information Systems and Network Systems Management areas, reporting to the Dean. The program aims to align with industry needs and institutional goals and support student success and institutional excellence. Key responsibilities
Designing, developing, and updating continuing education curricula to reflect current industry standards and emerging technologies. Scheduling and coordinating continuing education courses in collaboration with faculty and staff. Recruiting, training, and supervising adjunct faculty to maintain high-quality instruction and program delivery. Maintaining regular office hours and serving as a primary point of contact for program-related inquiries. Assisting the Department Head and Dean with budget planning, course scheduling, and the coordination of advisory committee meetings. Teaching courses. Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a master’s degree in business administration or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in management, business, accounting, or information technology. A minimum of two (2) years of progressively related work/teaching experience. Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, along with a commitment to workforce development and student success. Must be able to adapt to changes in information technology and troubleshoot both hardware and software issues. The candidate will teach both credit and non-credit courses. Schedules may vary, including evenings and weekends, at various locations, and the use of technology and diverse teaching methods is expected. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. Additional Comments
