Administer all aspects of the front and back of house operations. Full accountability of the day to day business functions of the restaurant to ensure that a high level of consistent guest service is achieved and maintained. Ensures that all employees are well informed of departmental goals and objectives and that all employees related issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner. Implement and manage training programs, merchandising and quality cost control of the entire restaurant. Ensure all areas are properly handling alcohol beverages in accordance with State and Federal Liquor policies. Move throughout facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food and beverage quality and service standards are met. Give guidance toward improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency. Utilize computer to accurately charge customers, create forecast and revenue reports and write correspondence. Interview, hire, train, supervise, counsel, review performance and discipline restaurant staff. Participate in interviewing, hiring, reviewing performance and discipline of supervisory personnel. Observe safety and legal requirements as to health and labor department requirements. Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the entire facility. Ensure that all departmental work schedules are compliant with staffing guidelines and that staffing levels are sufficient to provide service in accordance with company staffing guidelines and operating budget. Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as guest count and menu changes. Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments. Interact with customers and always represent the best interest of the Jeff Ruby experience. Communicate effectively with all departments and with the Director of Operations Maintain business contact with clients, purveyors, colleagues in other restaurants and health and fire officials. Mentoring Assistant General Manager to prepare for position of leadership. Responsible for economical purchase and control of china, glass, silver, linen and all other food and beverage equipment. Maintain profitability of restaurant, develop, institute and monitor revenue enhancement programs and expense reductions achieve budgeted revenues and expenses. Recommend cost saving and profit enhancing measures. Skilled in math and algebraic equations using percentages Other projects as assigned by Director of Operations Experience

Minimum of 5 years management experience in Food & Beverage operations. Must possess excellent people skills and verbal and written communication skills. Full flexibility to accommodate varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the restaurant. Preferred Education
