FCM Homes
Overview
FCM Homes is a short-term rental management company based in Austin, TX, with ~150 properties under management across Austin and the Texas Hill Country. We provide end-to-end property management services, delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing returns for homeowners. We are the sister company of French Cowboys, which owns and manages 7 boutique hotels in the Texas Hill Country, giving us deep expertise in hospitality and real estate operations. We recently partnered with a private equity group to significantly accelerate our growth, and we are building a world-class team to scale our business. Our culture is entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and focused on delivering excellence to our clients and guests. What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a Managing Director to lead FCM Homes through its next stage of growth. Following the partnership with our new investor, we are positioned to significantly accelerate expansion and scale operations, both in Texas and across the US. The Managing Director will take full ownership of the business’s day-to-day performance across business development, operations, sales, marketing, and finance, reporting directly to the CEO. This role carries full responsibility for the company’s P&L and team, making it a unique opportunity for someone who is motivated, hard-working, and eager to scale a company. What You’ll Do
Business Performance and P&L Management
Own overall financial and operational performance of FCM Homes. Lead the creation and execution of annual and quarterly operating plans and budgets. Track and report performance against growth & profitability targets to CEO.
Sales, Growth & Business Development
Personally lead business development efforts in the first 12 months (as there will be no dedicated Business Development Representative), including networking, prospecting, and closing new property management contracts. Build and expand partnerships with brokers, developers, and vendors to accelerate market share. Develop scalable business development playbook to eventually transition to a dedicated business development function. Manage the operations, sales & marketing, and finance teams, ensuring focus and accountability. Build and lead a high-performing organization, hiring and mentoring key talent. Foster a fun and collaborative team environment.

Proven experience in senior leadership, ideally in start-ups and/or hospitality. Strong financial acumen, demonstrated ability to manage P&L ownership and deliver strong business results. Track record of building, training and managing high-performing teams. Hands-on business development and sales experience, with ability to close high-value deals. Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with discipline to execute in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment. Willingness to travel within Austin and the Texas Hill Country. Working Conditions
