Overview We are currently seeking a

Senior Medicaid Salesforce Solution Architect

to join our client’s team in

Albany, New York .

This is a

hybrid

role that will require an onsite presence at the client location in Albany, NY on average 50%.

The Senior Solution Architect will have responsibility for design and software development for the Continuing Medicaid Eligibility Modernization program. The mission of the program is to implement eligibility determinations for the Medicaid complex (Non-MAGI) population utilizing industry best practices, proven frameworks, and modern technologies. Client will automate as much of the determination process as possible thereby reducing the need for human intervention and in person assistance to the Medicaid complex population.

The incumbent will work together with the business partners to understand business requirements and design the overall application architecture, including components and interfaces, and write, test and debug code as required.

Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Conducts review of the current infrastructure, applications, and business requirements to determine optimal cloud architecture

Collaborates with application developers and system administrators to ensure interoperability between cloud and on-premises components, and between one cloud platform to another, resolving integration challenges

Develops detailed plans for migrating applications, data, and infrastructure from on-premises environments to the cloud while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations

Designs, implements, and manages containerized solutions, involving Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms to ensure scalability, reliability, and security

Design and define API architecture and standards

Designs and implements Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions to ensure secure and efficient file exchange across systems

Identifies and mitigates risks associated with technology choices and implementations related to Medicaid Transformation Program

Works with various stakeholders, including vendors, developers, and business leaders to ensure the cloud strategy meets their needs

Manages, monitors, and optimizes cloud environments for performance, cost, and scalability

Communicates verbally and in writing with a variety of individuals including management, users, vendors, and other technology staff

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of progressively responsible information technology experience in developing large scale systems comparable to the client, three of these years must have been managing teams.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in architecting solutions in Java, Python, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in architecting and developing solutions using Salesforce Low-code platform.

Must be able to be onsite at the client location in Albany, NY on average 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience managing vendors, including monitoring of service level agreements and adherence to contract terms

Demonstrated experience working in health and human services at a national, state or local level as well as experience working with Medicaid programs in New York State

Demonstrated experience with designing and implementing APIs within microservices environment

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing MFT solutions

Demonstrated proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering cloud solutions on the Salesforce platform that deliver business value to customers

Industry certifications in AWS / GCP
