Overview
NetGain Technologies, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our Professional Services Team with a focus on Pre-Sales Consulting and IT solution development. You will design complex IT solutions to meet client business goals and work closely with Sales and Managed Services during the sales process as a trusted technology advisor. Responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including conducting technical discovery sessions on a client’s existing systems and environments to develop ideal solutions. Lead the design and architecture of complex IT solutions for clients including networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless), virtual and physical servers (Microsoft Server ecosystem), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage, cloud platforms (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS within Azure and M365), Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity, and Security. Create high-level design documentation, technical diagrams, and implementation guides for engineering teams. Determine hardware and software requirements and create appropriate bills of materials. Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including conducting technical discovery sessions, creating statements of work (SOWs), and delivering technical presentations to prospective clients. Contribute to the development and enforcement of solutioning best practices, standards, design templates and documentation to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends; evaluate new products and solutions for potential value to clients. Professional & Client-Facing
Serve as a trusted technical advisor, building strong relationships with key client stakeholders through professional, client-facing communication. Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Lead technical discussions to understand client needs during the sales process and translate them into detailed, budget-conscious solutions. Work closely with Sales and Customer Success Managers to qualify opportunities by helping determine potential solutions and budgetary estimates. Participate in proposal delivery and pre-sales meetings with clients to understand business needs and requirements. Coordinate with PMO and Engineering teams post-signing. Qualifications (Preferred)
Minimum of 1-5 years’ hands-on experience in IT Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent certs/experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions clearly and concisely. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
