In this role, you will focus on Pre-Sales Consulting and IT solution development.

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing complex IT solutions to meet the needs of our clients business goals, while you will work directly with our Sales and Managed Services teams during the sales process as a trusted technology advisor. Your expertise and solution designs will be key for opportunity qualification and project implementation. To successfully align IT solutions with business objectives, a Solution Architect must have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as both technical and business knowledge. As a Solutions Architect, you must consult with the client to understand their business needs and which IT solutions will fit their current and future goals. Your leadership skills will be important for steering the overall process, identifying key business objectives and determining the requirements for each solution. You will be responsible for drafting timely and accurate statements of work based on your solutions designs. Job Responsibilities Technical and Architectural Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including conducting technical discovery sessions on a clients existing systems and environments to develop ideal solutions. Lead the design and architecture of complex IT solutions for clients including networking (LAN, WAN, SDWAN, Wireless), virtual and physical servers (Microsoft Server ecosystem), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage stacks, cloud platforms (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS within Azure and M365), Disaster recovery and Business Continuity, and Security. Create high-level design documentation, technical diagrams, and implementation guides to be used by engineering teams. Determine the hardware and software requirements and create appropriate bills of materials. Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including conducting technical discovery sessions, creating statements of work (SOWs), and delivering technical presentations to prospective clients. Contribute to the development and enforcement of solutioning best practices, standards, design templates and documentation to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Evaluate new products and solutions to determine their potential value to our clients.

Professional & Client-Facing Serve as a trusted technical advisor, building strong relationships with key client stakeholders through professional, client-facing communication. Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Lead technical discussions to understand client needs as part of the sales process and translate them into detailed, budget-conscious solutions. Work closely with Sales and Customer Success Managers to qualify opportunities by helping to determine potential solutions and budgetary estimates. Participate in proposal delivery and pre-sales meetings with clients to understand business needs and requirements. Coordinate with PMO and Engineering teams post signage.

Qualifications We Prefer

Minimum of 1 5 years hands-on experience in IT Bachelors Degree in IT or equivalent certs/experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions clearly and concisely. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Ability to travel when required At least 3 years in a customer facing role
