Overview
Senior Grants Accountant is sought to join a finance team within a global network of policy research centers. This is a full-time position. Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Track grant cash receipts daily and maintain up-to-date grants receivable reconciliation. Prepare detailed grant financial reports and forecasts for donors. Review grant proposal budgets for accuracy. Create internal grant summaries to track grant spending against proposal budgets. Work with research programs to ensure grant spending aligns with the grant proposal budget and grant terms. Review grant agreements and prepare revenue journal entries in accordance with US GAAP revenue recognition standards. Oversee the grant timekeeping system, prepare workpapers for donor grant audits, the organizational audit, and IRS Form 990. Prepare fundraising status reports for the Board. Qualifications
