Role Description We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to provide leadership, technical expertise and hands-on support in maintaining and improving our equipment and operations. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, guiding and training team members, and ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency across departments.

Qualifications

2 Year Technical Certificate or completed technical courses in: Machine Shop functions, blueprint reading, applied mathematics, basic electronics, electrical (single & 3 phase), AC/DC motor controls, GFI systems, welding, plumbing, air, water, and HVAC

Minimum 10 years relatable work experience

3-5 Years experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical and technical problem-solving skills, including the ability to make complex repairs across various types of machines

Proficiency in reading and creating blueprints

Solid understanding of mathematical concepts applied to troubleshooting and machine setup

Ability to operate precision tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and shop equipment

Proven leadership ability with a track record of developing and mentoring employees

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct assigned maintenance staff

Read and draw blueprints, including developing new tools for efficient reproduction

Train employees in blueprint reading, equipment operation, and advanced repair techniques

Operate equipment such as surface grinders, drill presses, milling machines and engine lathes with accuracy and accountability

Perform complex repairs, adjustments, and remanufacturing of machine parts

Troubleshoot and correct production problems or escalate issues to management when appropriate

Identify potential problems and recommend solutions to prevent downtime

Suggest and implement productivity and efficiency improvements

Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

Other duties as assigned
