Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of 10+ full-time employees (FTE) and 20+ contracted staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Oversee an outsourced managed service program valued at nearly $5M per year, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.

Drive the adoption of modern software development practices and methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Drive change towards a product operating model where application engineering leads act as Product Managers over their domain of solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute application engineering strategies and product roadmaps that align with business goals.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the application engineering team, promoting professional growth and development.

Manage the application support services, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of support processes.

Monitor and report on KPIs related to application engineering and support services.

Qualifications / Skills for Success

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field/experience; advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience in technology solution engineering and application support services.

Deep expertise in modern software development practices and methodologies.

Strong understanding of product operating models and their application in technology solutions.

Excellent leadership and change management skills, with experience leading teams of 30+ staff.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of the clothing manufacturing and apparel industry is a plus.
