We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Enterprise Architect to develop the technology strategy for the services they oversee. This role involves developing technology architectures, maintaining technology roadmaps, simplifying technology through consolidation, rationalization, and eliminating technical debt. The Senior Architect will work closely with other Architects within the enterprise. This is a hybrid role, where employees are expected to come into the Raleigh or Jersey City offices, twice a week. We are also open to candidates interested in remote opportunities based in the Central or Eastern U.S., with occasional travel to Arch locations. Key Responsibilities
Architecture Expertise: Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and solutions. Design and implement integration strategies (SSO/API/Middleware/Data/Event-Driven) for various on-prem applications and SaaS systems with a focus on resiliency, scalability, security, and performance, ensuring seamless integration of SaaS applications with existing enterprise systems. Participate in architecture and tech governance of digital products or application systems. Review and provide feedback on solution architecture, coach and guide development approaches. Conduct assessments, provide improvement requirements, and remediate standards/best practice violations. Management of Technical Debt
Define and influence technology simplification. Identify and prioritize technical debt, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. Drive scalability, availability, and performance improvements. Collaboration
Work closely with other architects (Technology, Network, Cloud, Application, Data, Automation, and UX) and developing leaders. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and accomplish technology solutions, standards, and IT strategic objectives. Hands-on Expertise
Support engineering, research and development, pilots, and POCs to drive adoption of standards and technology selection. Develop and maintain reference architectures for new technologies and solutions. Own the technology strategy for assigned services, maintaining technology roadmaps. Evangelize and curate technology standards across IT for consistency and compliance. Skills And Qualifications
10+ years of experience in a senior technical role such as architect or lead engineer/developer. Demonstrated expertise in the implementation and maintenance of enterprise software and defining new architecture models. Hands-on experience with conducting POCs and advising on architectural approaches. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Must have experience architecting solutions using Tier 1 cloud vendors (Azure, AWS). Must have experience in integration of widely used SaaS solutions in P&C Insurance space. Knowledge of P&C Insurance products such as Guidewire Cloud Suite and Pega Cloud are beneficial. Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $150,000 - $180,000/year. Total compensation offered will take into account factors including geographic location, scope and responsibilities, qualifications, talent availability, and business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
