Title:
Senior Revenue Accountant
Location:
Boston, MA - Fully Remote but must be able to go to Boston a few times a year/once or so a quarter

Requirements:
~3+ years of experience (public, private, or a mix of both)
The Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes related to revenue accounting, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as fluctuation analyses.
Responsibilities
Support monthly close and internal reporting process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for sales reserves, bad debt and revenue recognition
Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue schedules such as net sales reports to facilitate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
Analyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in accounts associated with areas of responsibility
Assist with completion of internal controls associated with areas of responsibility
Assist with SEC financial statement preparation as it relates to revenue
Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
Work with external auditors to provide required schedules and support, for the interim and annual audit
Provide support for accounting for new business initiatives
Assist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business
Performs other duties as required
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MSA / MBA a plus
3-4 years of public accounting and / or corporate experience at SEC registered entities
Preferred Skills and Competencies
Proficiency with ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP, MS Windows and MS Office Software, especially Excel
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Deadline oriented with attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple projects
Team player and collaborative
Experience with SAP a plus
