The Division of Internal Medicine within the Department of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University is actively seeking an
Associate Director of Internal Medicine
to collaborate closely with the Division Director. This leadership position is vital in delivering a patient-centered, high-quality medical environment that enhances clinical service while supporting the educational and research objectives of the Division. As the Associate Director, you will oversee clinical operations, contribute to achieving high-quality patient outcomes, promote health equity, and initiate new programmatic initiatives. Your role will involve working alongside the Division Director to develop strategic plans, assist in faculty recruitment, and participate in budgeting processes. In addition, you will coordinate with Medical Directors and Practice Managers from 11 clinical sites and 3 Graduate Medical Education training sites, as well as engage Quality Improvement and Population Health leaders and educational and research staff across Jefferson. Qualifications: MD/DO degree and Board Certification in Internal Medicine Proven leadership and mentoring abilities Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills A strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration Please note that COVID vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for staff working in clinical entities or at the University. If not already vaccinated, you will need to receive the vaccination before your start date unless you obtain an approved medical or religious exemption.
