This 6-month Summer Co-op provides hands-on experience in developing advanced RF front-end modules, working with seasoned engineering professionals and subject matter experts within Skyworks. Duration: June/July to December 2026 Responsibilities
Work with experienced engineers to design/develop multi-chip modules Design semi-lumped RF matching networks, integrated passive devices, couplers, etc. Run simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc. Participate and present in design reviews Perform lab testing using standard RF test equipment Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues Collaborate with other engineers and technicians Required Experience And Skills
Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD program Commitment for working on site for 6 months Strong desire to learn, grow and make impact Strong career interest in RF/microwave engineering and electromagnetics Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS is highly preferred Hands-on experience in lab using network analyzer and other RF instruments is highly preferred Knowledge of PA design is a plus Compensation
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is USD 26.00 - 47.50 per hour; for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. it is USD 22.50 - 42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on education level, duties, requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different U.S. locations. Equal Opportunity
