In this 6 month Co-Op opportunity at Skyworks, you will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end module, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. Working with experienced engineers to design/develop multi-chip modules Designing semi-lumped RF matching networks, integrated passive devices, couplers, etc. Runing simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc. Participating and presenting in design reviews Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment Trouble-shooting and resolving design or technical issues Collaborating with other engineers and technicians Required Experience And Skills
Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD programs Commitment for working on site for 6 months, Summer/Fall Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS is highly preferred Desired Experience And Skills
Strong desire to learn, grow and make impact Strong career interest in RF/microwave engineering and electromagnetics Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others Knowledge of PA design is a plus Hands-on experience in lab using network analyzer and other RF instruments is highly preferred The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
