Overview
The SVP of FP&A serves as the chief architect of our financial planning and analytical capabilities, directly shaping long-term business strategy and ensuring the company’s continued growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This executive will provide strategic leadership, cross-enterprise financial insight, and board-level engagement, overseeing the financial performance of acquisitions, new market entries, and multi-entity operations into a cohesive and high-performing financial framework. This role requires a forward-looking, enterprise-minded leader who thrives on driving financial transformation, building high-performance teams, and partnering closely with senior executives to achieve ambitious corporate growth objectives. Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
Serve as a primary strategic partner to the CFO influencing long-term vision, capital allocation, and growth strategies. Lead the development of multi-year financial plans that align with corporate objectives, market opportunities, and stakeholder expectations. Oversee enterprise-level scenario modeling to guide decisions on acquisitions.
Enterprise Budgeting & Forecasting
Direct the organization-wide budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment across all business units and entities. Establish best-in-class financial planning frameworks that enable proactive decision-making and operational agility.
Advanced Financial Analysis
Lead comprehensive pricing, profitability, and margin optimization strategies, ensuring revenue growth and sustainable profitability. Oversee analysis supporting mergers, acquisitions, and integration, including synergy realization tracking. Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and performance metrics for ongoing financial health monitoring.
Performance & Risk Management
Champion the establishment of enterprise KPIs and ensure rigorous performance monitoring across divisions. Identify financial, operational, and market risks, and partner with leadership to implement robust risk mitigation strategies.
Executive Communication & Influence
Present complex financial insights to the Executive Team and key stakeholders with clarity and strategic perspective. Serve as a visible leader and culture champion, representing FP&A in high-profile internal and external settings.
Leadership & Talent Development
Build, mentor, and retain a world-class FP&A team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Promote cross-functional collaboration with operations, business development, technology, and other functions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity in a multi-entity environment. Proven track record in strategic financial leadership, preferably in high-growth, acquisition-driven organizations. Exceptional skills in financial modeling, capital planning, and enterprise forecasting. Superior executive communication and board presentation capabilities. Ability to lead transformational initiatives that deliver measurable impact. Preferred Qualifications
CPA, CFA, or MBA. Experience with private equity, mergers and acquisitions, including end-to-end financial due diligence and integration oversight. Expertise with Sage Intacct or comparable enterprise financial systems. Job Details
