Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex litigation cases, particularly in insurance coverage and bad faith claims. This role requires a strong advocate with the ability to represent policyholders effectively and navigate trial preparation and motion practices.
Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of litigation matters, focusing on insurance coverage and bad faith claims Provide legal advice and representation to policyholders Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery Participate in depositions and other legal proceedings Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic guidance Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to insurance and litigation Develop and execute trial strategies and preparations Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active California State Bar membership Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on insurance coverage and bad faith claims Strong understanding of trial preparation and motion practice Proficient in conducting depositions and other legal proceedings Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off Long-Term Disability Short-Term Disability Salary commensurate with experience ($150K-$250K++) - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
