Technical Competencies

Perform monthly close workbook largely free of errors including the reconciliation of medium to high risk balance sheet accounts such as deferred revenue.

Prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards largely free of errors

Demonstrates ability to independently problem solve and bring solutions to challenges.

Communication Competencies

Demonstrates proactive communication to staff & managers regarding the status of in process activities

Demonstrates professional, timely and clear communications to clients

Seeks feedback and improvement tips from managers to avoid recurring mistakes

Excel Competencies

Create tables, filter, and sort data

Create pivot tables

Proficient in Lookup functions – VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP

Create bar, line, & pie graphs

Proficient in INDEX & MATCH functions

Goals

1740 billable hours

140 non-billable hours

94 training hours

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field required; CPA preferred

4+ year of General Ledger accounting experience required

Client service accounting preferred

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP required

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize client workload

Excellent communication and writing skills required

Self-starter; ability to work with minimal direction

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required

Experience with QuickBooks

Ability to work core business hours (8:30am – 5:30 pm PST)

Compensation Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, qualifications/certifications, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $80K-$94K, annualized base compensation, with additional compensation components. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience.
