Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in various areas of civil litigation, with a focus on providing exceptional legal representation for our clients in disputes related to real estate, intellectual property, medical malpractice, labor law, and others. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities Represent clients in civil litigation cases in court and during negotiations. Draft, file, and respond to pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and trial. Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to various disputes. Negotiate settlements in civil litigation cases to achieve optimal results. Stay informed about changes in laws and legal precedents affecting civil litigation. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania. Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation. Strong understanding of one or more of the following; real estate law, intellectual property, construction liability, medical malpractice, workers' compensation, education law, product liability, landlord/tenant disputes, and/or breach of contract claims. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage a caseload efficiently.
