Senior Project Engineer

to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects across multiple manufacturing sites. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of critical initiatives that shape the future of our operations, improve efficiencies, and enable business growth. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget—all while applying your technical expertise in manufacturing, packaging automation, and regulatory compliance. What You’ll Do

Lead and manage multiple capital projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with long-term operational and business goals. Define project scopes, technical specifications, equipment needs, and facility layouts in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Prepare and manage Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs), including budgeting, ROI analysis, and financial tracking. Direct cross-functional teams and external vendors to achieve safe, efficient, and timely project execution. Model and analyze manufacturing capacity to support expansion, throughput improvements, and cost savings. Oversee equipment procurement, testing (FAT/SAT), installation, commissioning, and final handover. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and environmental standards. Apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. Provide engineering leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams. Drive validation protocols and process qualifications for new or modified systems. What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of engineering experience in high-speed manufacturing (CPG preferred; bottle filling a plus). Proven track record managing large capital projects ($300K–$2M+) from concept through startup in multi-site environments. Strong technical knowledge of packaging automation, chemical batching, and liquid handling. Proficiency in AutoCAD for layout and design integration. Experience with project management tools/software. Understanding of validation, process safety, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, FDA as applicable). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in consumer goods, personal care, food, or chemical manufacturing preferred. Familiarity with PLC-based control systems. PMP certification or formal project management training a plus. Seniority level
