Head of Government & Public Affairs - EVE Mobility at Embraer. Based in Washington, D.C., United States. Job purpose: Develop and execute strategies to influence public policy, regulatory frameworks, and legislative initiatives that support the implementation, growth and integration of advanced air mobility technologies, ecosystem, and operations. Collaborate with federal, state, and local government agencies, industry coalitions, and internal stakeholders; engage with community stakeholders to garner public acceptance for the industry and influence an Urban Air Mobility ecosystem favorable to Eve Air Mobility and its customers. Responsibilities

Policy Advocacy & Strategy: Engage, develop and implement public policy agenda and advocacy strategies to support AAM initiatives that align with Eve’s goals in target markets in the US (including FL, TX, CA and NY), Brazil and select countries worldwide. Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments affecting AAM, including FAA rulemaking, airspace integration, and infrastructure policy; ensure alignment with Eve’s aircraft and priorities. Collaborate with Eve’s partners to advance legislative proposals and community engagement to launch and scale an agnostic UAM ecosystem. Advocate Eve’s position on pending legislation at federal, state, and local levels through lobbying, testimony, and written/ verbal communications. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry associations (e.g., FAA, GAMA, NASA, and other AAM associations). Represent the company in public forums, working groups, and industry coalitions. Develop relationships with elected officials and key administrators in target cities and states, including South Florida, NY, and Houston, TX. Regulatory Affairs: Collaborate with legal and technical teams to interpret and respond to regulatory proposals; draft policy briefs, comment letters, and position papers on issues such as eVTOL certification, Urban Air Traffic Management, and UAM operations. Internal Coordination: Report to executive leadership on risks and opportunities in policy, regulatory affairs, partnerships, trials, and grants; collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals with regulatory pathways; leverage media relationships with the communications team to advance public narrative. Qualifications

Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in public policy, political science, law, or a related field. U.S. Citizenship is required. Role will be based in Washington, D.C. Experience: 10+ years in government affairs, preferably in aerospace, transportation, or emerging technologies. Deep understanding of the U.S. legislative and regulatory process, especially FAA and DOT. Experience advocating at multiple levels of government; strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills; public speaking and eloquent writing abilities. Other Job Details
