Senior Principal Systems Engineer, DeepStrike Launcher, Medium Mobility Platform and Autonomous Resupply Vehicle, Integrated Product Team Lead at Raytheon. Role focuses on leading the development of an autonomous missile launching platform for the DeepStrike Launcher program. The DeepStrike Launcher is an advanced U.S. Army initiative for a highly mobile, modular, and autonomous launch platform supporting long-range precision fires across multiple domains. The Autonomous Resupply Truck will autonomously transport and reload munitions in the field with minimal human intervention. The IPT Lead will oversee the technical execution and successful delivery of a complex product from concept through fielding, leading a cross-functional engineering team, coordinating with program management, suppliers, and customers, and guiding system requirements and architecture decisions to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance." Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and report on budget and schedule performance, including Earned Value Management (EVM), alignment with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and coordination with program planning and finance teams Lead cross-functional engineering teams to meet technical, cost, and schedule objectives while promoting collaboration across all technical sub-teams Shape system architecture and design strategy using inputs from engineering disciplines to ensure design compliance and alignment with customer mission needs Interface with Raytheon program leadership, the Office of the Chief Engineer, and other IPTs to coordinate technical execution Report program status, accomplishments, challenges, and resource needs to Raytheon leadership Engage with customers, suppliers, and functions across the Enterprise including Engineering, Operations, Mission Assurance, and Global Supply Chain Mentor engineering team members and engage SMEs to resolve complex issues Apply deep experience in system-level design, integration, verification, leading technical reviews, and risk management Minimum 25% travel for supplier management, integration support in Tucson, AZ, and customer interactions in Huntsville, AL Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least seven (7) years of experience Experience managing or leading cross-disciplined engineering teams Experience in missiles or missile launcher integration and test (trade studies, architectures, system development, requirements management) Experience with program management tools (EVMS, CAM, IMP/IMS, Risk and Opportunity Management) Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required Qualifications We Prefer

Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance Experience with missile launchers, medium military trucks, autonomy systems, navigation, communications, and on-board power Experience with crane resupply designs and operations Experience managing key strategic suppliers and IPT leadership Program management certification or equivalent experience; Agile development exposure Experience leading development across multiple sites; ability to manage multiple priorities Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline What We Offer

This range is a good-faith estimate and depends on experience, location, and qualifications.
