Administer from cradle to grave contract performance on government and commercial contracts. Conduct the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company, customers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities
Administer and monitor contract performance on major government contracts Conduct the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company, customers, subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures Review contract solicitation terms, handle award confirmations, interpret agreement terms and conditions, identify potential issues, review amendments/modifications, and incorporate changes Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements; identify risks and provide guidance to the Contract Lead/Program and Operations Managers Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions Fulfill contract deliverables, billings, and cash collections Prepare proposals for customer requirements Work with cross-functional teams on compliance reviews and analysis of proposals and awarded contracts Negotiate terms and conditions Monitor contract performance and cost controls with Finance to ensure compliance with contract terms Prepare Non-Disclosure Agreements and international consultant/sales representative agreements and other contractual agreements Manage and maintain Contract Lifecycle Management Tool and contract file retention Participate in management review of proposals/contracts and conduct program reviews Assist in preparation of documents for trade compliance Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend DRS’s mission, values, and culture Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with a minimum of 8 years related experience Expert knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) Advanced understanding of complex contract/purchase order terms and conditions and knowledge of government contracting process including sole source and competitive procurements Expert knowledge of contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper use Expert knowledge of government IP/software and data rights clauses and IP marking guidelines Expert knowledge of source selection/evaluation process including cost and price analysis Advanced knowledge of administration of government property Advanced knowledge of government contract administration duties including subcontract flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out and records retention Advanced drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, POs, teaming and other agreements Excellent verbal and written communication skills; contract/agreement briefing, negotiation and review experience Experience monitoring contracts/subcontracts of increasing complexity and value Membership in NCMA and CPCM certification desired Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance The expected pay scale for this position is $114,727/year - $154,846/year. The pay scale may be modified during the hiring process based on the scope of the position, location, government contracts, candidate experience, education, certifications, and other factors.
