Overview
The Windows Authentication team within the Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) organization at Microsoft owns the authentication and authorization stack across Windows client and server platforms. This team fixes critical security vulnerabilities and ships enhancements in the authentication protocol stack, including Windows Key Distribution Center (KDC). The Windows Authentication team is hiring a Software Engineer II to help keep Windows customers secure and meet the evolving demand in the security space. As a Software Engineer II on the Windows Authentication team, you will use your experience with authentication protocols, security principles, and performance optimization to work on cutting-edge technology that secures billions of devices worldwide. Debug complex Windows issues and root cause problems. Develop robust fixes and write code to test fixes. Conduct thorough testing to ensure the highest quality of security features and updates. Work on customer incidents and identify mitigations/solutions to real-world problems. Embed our culture and values in daily work.
