Program Director/Addiction Treatment Program (CV1247-1) - Reentry Services Division
We want to hire a
Program Director
to join our highly dynamic and growing Addiction Treatment Program. The successful candidate shall report to the VP of Re-Entry Services and
lead the Treatment Team .
Responsibilities
The coordination of supervision, training, and supporting the staff delivering treatment-related services to all clients entering the programs
Developing and/or implementing in-service training component and staff development programs
Maintaining relevant statistical information as required by the supervisor for research and development
Provide support to program staff to ensure clients receive appropriate services based on assessed need
Qualifications
Master's degree in a human services related field AND two years of transferable full-time experience in an administrative OR supervisory role in a substance abuse treatment facility
OR a Bachelor's degree AND five years of full-time experience in an administrative or supervisory role in a substance abuse treatment facility
Bi-lingual verbal and written ability helpful but not required.
A valid driver's license and be able to meet Volunteers of America Delaware Valley driver standards
Have a thorough working knowledge of social learning theory, cognitive-behavioral intervention and approaches, assessment and evaluation.
Willing to work flexible hours, which may include some weekends and evenings
Must be able to pass criminal background clearance from the funding source and a pre-employment drug screening and physical
Basic computer experience
