Linux Administrator with experience in Storage, Networking, and performance optimization across multiple platforms. Strong hands-on experience with virtualization and cloud solutions, and the ability to drive storage provisioning, automations, and operational improvements. Responsibilities
Linux System Administration with experience in Storage and Network troubleshooting. Server Performance Monitoring. Monitor and optimize performance for various services (e.g., Apache, JBoss, Tomcat), OS resources (memory, CPU, disk IO), and platforms (load balancers, Xen, VMware, UCS, Azure, AWS). Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and OpenStack cloud solutions and optimization. Strong hands-on experience with virtual (VMware/Xen) and physical servers (Cisco UCS, Client, Lenovo). Extensive experience handling EMC/NetApp Storage on Linux. Storage (NAS/SAN) migrations across different hardware platforms. Collaborate with HANA/MySQL DBAs for provisioning storage. Research and document best practices for SAN/NAS storage on Linux/UNIX OS systems. Strong skills in Linux LVM and native/PowerPath MPIO. Hands-on experience with SSSD and LDAP. Experience with virtualized storage on Linux and SUSE Cluster administration. Automation and scripting with Shell, Perl, Python, and other languages. Automation tools: Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible. Storage monitoring tools such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, Spectrum. Knowledge of HTTP headers, HTTPS load balancing, and web transactions. Research, develop, and implement new tools and processes to improve and automate operational support. Maintain OS system security standards, host and client access, and automate required audits. Act as a technical lead to drive challenging projects across departments. Create detailed technical documentation and provide training to other team members. Qualifications
