Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control electronics for optical modules and production equipment. You will develop innovative solutions to enhance performance and reliability of our products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and production staff to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Carry out electronics design under the guidance of senior design team members.

Use PADS PCB software to generate schematics and PCB layouts.

Bring up and troubleshoot circuit boards to ensure proper functionality.

Collaborate with mechanical, optical, and testing team members on assembly automation projects.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of designs, processes, and test results.

Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve overall design quality.

Assist in the development and implementation of testing procedures for electronic components.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics design.

Education & Experience

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related technical fields.

1-2 years of related experience preferred.

Skills

Solid foundation in analog and digital circuit design.

Very familiar with PADS software.

Ability to work with little supervision and manage assigned tasks effectively.

Ability to learn and apply new technologies and tools to develop innovative solutions.

Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

Working Conditions

Good office working conditions. Occasionally required to work in a Class 10000 clean-room environment, wearing smock with mask and gloves.

This is a full time on-site role.

Physical Requirements Able to move light equipment and tooling ( Safety Requirements All employees are required to attend scheduled trainings, follow site EHS procedures and Corporate EHS standards. This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities. Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently, perform risk assessments, provide training, and ensure appropriate PPE is available and used.

Quality And Environmental Responsibilities Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
