About the Role
Our firm is seeking a highly motivated and talented Associate to join our Consumer Practice. In this role, you will be a key member of our deal teams, working on a wide range of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic advisory assignments for clients across the consumer sector. You will have significant exposure to senior bankers and clients and play a crucial part in all stages of a transaction, from initial pitch to closing. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong foundation in finance to gain direct experience in complex transactions and develop into a future leader within our firm. Responsibilities
Build detailed financial models, including valuation, LBO, and accretion/dilution analyses. Conduct in-depth industry and company research, focusing on the consumer sector. Prepare and deliver client presentations, including pitch books and marketing materials. Manage due diligence processes, collaborating closely with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors. Analyze company and market data to identify potential opportunities and provide strategic recommendations. Support senior bankers in all aspects of deal execution. Qualifications
Three years of experience in a relevant field, such as investment banking, private equity, or corporate development. A bachelor\'s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; an MBA is a plus but not required. Demonstrated interest or experience in the consumer sector is highly preferred. Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills. Strong understanding of accounting principles and valuation methodologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A high degree of integrity and professionalism. Must be located in the Seattle metropolitan area or willing to relocate. Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid-work environment; combining both in-office collaboration and the flexibility to work remotely. Why Join Us?
