Position Summary
The Group Strategic Pricing Director will lead the strategic pricing program for a group with primary responsibility for global revenue in excess of $6 Billion. This role will provide leadership for the Aerospace Group strategic pricing team. Lead the development and coordination of pricing strategy for large multi-division customers.
Scope / Supervision And Interaction
This role does not have direct report.
Collaborates with the VP Corporate Strategic Pricing, Division Pricing, Marketing Managers, and Operational leaders.
Essential Functions
Manages the implementation of the strategic pricing program within the group.
Ensures division pricing processes are wholly compliant to corporate strategic pricing initiative.
Ensures the creation and utilization of proper delegation of authority for division pricing decisions.
Responsible for the implementation of lean enterprise for pricing and quotation processes.
Primary source for developing and coordinating pricing strategy on large multi-division accounts.
Recruit and develop division pricing talent.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or finance is REQUIRED. Master/MBA/Ph.D. degree is preferred
10+ years plus strategic pricing experience
Aerospace Manufacturing experience is highly desired
In-depth understanding of contract management and P&L
In-depth understanding and experience with product management life cycle
Demonstrated aptitude for detailed analytical work
Commercial (selling or marketing) experience
Change management experience
