Overview
CERA Solutions is seeking a Civil Engineer to perform various tasks associated with the preliminary design, design, and construction of infrastructure projects. These projects vary in nature and range from highway reconstruction to civil site work. The Engineer I will perform these tasks under the supervision of CERA Solutions staff or a client of CERA Solutions. You will work in a fast-growing dynamic industry, contribute towards healthy economies, and make a lasting positive impact on society. We expect you to be highly responsible and passionate about your job. You should also be a good problem solver with a creative approach to your tasks. Responsibilities
Prepare engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and calculations; Analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other); Conduct technical and feasibility studies; Ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc., and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required; variety of engineering-related issues; Assist in the preparation of engineering inspection, feasibility and design reports; Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Four (4) year technical degree from an ABET-accredited institution; Experience in transportation-related and/or construction management coursework; Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise letters, memoranda, proposals and technical reports; Strong project management and supervision skills; Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation or similar and MS Office. Salary range: $32-40/hour depending on experience. Benefits include medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off.
