Overview
Senior Paralegal with extensive litigation experience. This role requires applying in-depth knowledge of the litigation process and legal procedures to support attorneys efficiently. Location: Washington, District of Columbia - Hybrid. Bonus eligible. Responsibilities
Manage and organize complex legal documents and coordinate the preparation and filing of these documents. Organize and maintain case files, manage ECF filings, and handle eDiscovery tasks including document review and database coordination. Assist with deposition and trial preparation, support attorneys in court, and manage trial logistics and travel. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to enhance efficiency and meet departmental needs. Expected to meet a billable hours target of 1,725 annually and handle additional projects as assigned. Proficiencies
Skilled in MS Office, LiveNote, and online research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw. Proficient in e-filing systems such as PACER and CM/ECF. Experienced in legal billing and expense reporting. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of paralegal and litigation experience. Experience in trial, arbitration, and mediation. ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate is preferred. Must comply with continuing education requirements of their jurisdiction. Skills and Certifications
Minimum 5 years of paralegal and litigation experience. Experience in trial, arbitration, and mediation. Efficient, cost-effective, and capable of supporting complex legal activities in a high-volume environment. Seniority level
