Overview Jewish Teen Foundation of Greater Boston (JTFGB) Program Coordinator role at JCC Association of North America. This is a temporary, limited part-time, +/- 10 hour per week, non-exempt position. The pay rate is expected to be between $23.00 and $25.00 per hour, with final offer determined by relevant qualifications, experience, and JCC's internal equity. The position offers a hybrid work option and a supportive work environment.

Principal Responsibilities Under the direction of the Director of Teen Programs, the JTFGB Program Coordinator will be responsible for execution of monthly workshops. The facilitator will design curriculum, maintain active participation by participants throughout the year, develop stimulating and meaningful group experiences, and evaluate each group session. Curriculum will focus on a grant-making learning experience through the lens of Jewish values. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Program design and curriculum development: design curriculum that introduces teens to Jewish philanthropy, grant-making, and Jewish values; create content around the group’s guiding values and chosen issue areas (e.g., food insecurity, education access, mental health).

Program facilitation and teen engagement: support teens in the grant-making process, lead Sunday workshops for groups of 10–20 teens, maintain active participation, manage relationships with teens and parents, and mentor teens to empower leadership and organizational skills.

Program management & evaluation: manage logistics for site visits to grant applicants, track donations and records, assess and modify programming for meaningful experiences, analyze outcomes, and collaborate with the Director of Teen Programs on planning and execution; support recruitment and provide data for fundraising.

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:

Requires an undergraduate degree in a relevant field (education, Jewish studies, business, nonprofit management). Graduate degree preferred. 1–2 years of professional and/or volunteer experience in teen engagement or experience with curriculum design and facilitation with teens. A combination of education and experience may be substituted as determined by JCC.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong computer skills: social media literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Knowledge of Jewish culture, values, and the local Jewish community.

Ability to mentor and empower teens to develop leadership and organizational skills.

Strong facilitation and communication skills, particularly with teens.

Strong interpersonal skills; proven ability to facilitate group decision-making.

Team player; ability to work with a variety of professionals, participants, parents, and community partners.

Ability to prioritize and multitask; handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Self-directed and available to work in person one Sunday per month and limited weekday hours.

Physical Requirements This hybrid position requires in-person presence roughly one Sunday per month for program facilitation, with some site visits to grant recipient locations. The role involves standard desk work, computer use, and occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.

Salary Under $25,000 per year.
