What Work You Will be Responsible For
Review of tax projections, tax workpapers and tax returns. Specifically, operating business, s-corps, etc.
Oversee and manage the tax return process including identification and resolution of tax issues
Experience with corporation and partnership accounting and tax concepts
Mentor, train and manage staff accountants to meet deadline and prioritize workload
Effectively manage multiple tax engagements in a team environment, and also work independently. Identify potential opportunities for new and/or expanded client services
Ability to lead and manage engagements, including budgeting, billing and engagement economics
Highly proactive approach to serving clients
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required
Public accounting experience
CPA
10+ years work experience in tax compliance with a specialization in partnerships s-corps
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree in tax or equivalent field preferred

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between 120000 and 250000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
