KPMG US . KPMG is currently seeking a Director in our US Legal Business Services (LBS) practice to join our growing team. LBS team members work closely with other KPMG service teams, including KPMG Law US and foreign member firm legal practices. Responsibilities

Lead and manage KPMG delivery teams on LBS engagements for legal department and law firm clients across LBS's three service lines: Legal Managed Services, Legal Operations Consulting, and Legal Technology Innovation; manage services engagements for legal departments; strategic assessments for legal teams; legal technology optimization, selections and implementations, including CLM and Gen AI applications for legal teams; organizational/target operating model design initiatives; legal/business process improvements; governance models; legal metrics and data; strategic modeling and impact analysis; legal resourcing strategies, and related activities. Manage engagements according to KPMG's financial and cost management policies. Oversee the day-to-day activities for LBS engagements and serve as the client’s principal point of contact for engagement-specific needs; supervise, mentor, and manage staff working on assigned projects. Facilitate program and project management activities, including preparation and review of engagement work papers, written deliverables and status reports to present to clients; track action items and issue/risk logs. Direct and lead change management initiatives to support the implementation of new legal processes, technologies, and systems with clients; develop responses to requests for proposals and lead/support new business development opportunities. Refine and optimize methodologies and approach to engagements. Qualifications

Minimum ten years of prior experience in legal business consulting, legal technology innovation, and/or legal managed services; experience in a consulting/advisory firm on behalf of legal teams; experience in the legal technology field or in a legal department, law firm, management, operations and/or data and analytics related to legal work. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; JD, MBA or master’s degree from an accredited law, business, or graduate school preferred, in addition to others on KPMG’s approved credential listing. Experience leading large-scale legal operations projects with strong project management skills; experience selecting, implementing and deploying leading legal technologies (Gen AI, CLM, ELM, etc.). Strong communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of client stakeholders, including Chief Legal Officers and other executives. Prior experience leading sales and new business development support; ability to supervise and mentor staff; demonstrated recent experience building a book of business and ability to leverage a large network. Ability to travel up to 50%.
