The QC Lead supports inspection processes to ensure all products meet the highest quality standards. The QC Lead coordinates the quality control team’s work assignments, develops quality standards, and implements inspection processes. Essential Job Functions

Ensure that all products meet the organization’s standards and customers’ expectations. They oversee the quality control department's daily operations, distributing work to inspectors and ensuring a steady material flow throughout the department. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and specifications to ensure regulatory compliance. This includes creating and updating protocols for inspections and testing. Mentor a team of inspectors and ensure their proficiency. Provide feedback and interpretation of the quality control testing results to production teams; identify areas for improvement and streamline quality assurance protocols. Collaborate with the procurement team to guarantee that suppliers' raw materials and components meet the established quality standards. Manage quality control documentation, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective action plans. Investigate quality-related customer complaints to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational efficiencies; facilitate cross-functional team meetings to discuss quality issues and brainstorm solutions. Support the Quality System by promoting compliance with the company’s Quality Manual, procedures, and policies. Assist the Value Stream Team with outcomes of 5S Audits for required countermeasures. Other duties as required in support of the department and the company. Supervisor Responsibilities

Supervisory responsibilities involve overseeing and coordinating work assignment for a team or individual to ensure adequate performance and job satisfaction and contribute to individuals’ career goals. Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma or vocational school graduate, preferably with emphasis on math, geometry, and trigonometry. 3+ years’ experience as an inspector in a field relevant to quality and manufacturing. Background in aerospace, defense, or cable assembly industries favored. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Active IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification at the manager's discretion and may be specific to work location. Language Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Conversational in any other language preferred. Mathematical Skills

Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages. Statistics: Interpret and analyze numerical data using statistical methods. Job Skills

Advanced in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint is necessary. Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred. Good knowledge of blueprint reading, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and ASME Y14.5M. Good oral and written communication skills. Hand dexterity, coordination, and accuracy. Ability to communicate and work well with a wide range of people. Keen attention to detail and can work well under pressure. Ability to use general inspection equipment needed for product verification. Physical Demands

As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while frequently using their hands to handle objects and communicate verbally. They may stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities are required.
