Quanta is an AI-powered accounting and finance platform focused on delivering instant, live financial data. We are a small, in-person team in downtown San Francisco building software to enable faster, clearer business decisions. We are seeking an early engineer to help shape the product, culture, team, and technical strategy. Responsibilities
Contribute creatively to the product roadmap and architecture. Build and own features across the stack with autonomy from day 1. Help define the teams culture and processes as the company grows. Collaborate with design, product, and other engineers to deliver high-impact outcomes. Qualifications
A full stack engineer who can execute autonomously across the stack on day 1 5+ years of professional software engineering experience at web-scale companies Drive to deeply understand users to build whats best for them Enjoy product work and defining your own requirements Ownership mentality across the entire business; proactively improve what you touch Ability to focus on what matters to ship quickly Willingness to work in-person with a collaborative team in our San Francisco office Excited about the intensity and hard work required by an early-stage company (Bonus) Experience building in React/TypeScript and Python (Bonus) Experience building financial systems of record Above-average early-stage equity Competitive early-stage salary (160-235K) Benefits
