Finance Director We are seeking someone who has worked for a private organization (not required to have public company experience). Agency experience is a plus. The role is based in Pearl River and requires hybrid work in our office. The Opportunity
Join our leadership team as Finance Director, serving as the financial engine driving EHG’s growth and operational excellence. You will be the go-to partner for our founders and management, shaping smart decision-making and long-term success through strategic insights, analytical rigor, and hands-on leadership. Responsibilities
Lead quarterly financial and business performance reviews with EHG’s Partners, translating data into actionable growth goals. Own cash flow modeling, proactive forecasting, and budgeting to keep the organization agile. Act as strategic financial partner to align business achievements with personal and financial objectives. Architect exit strategies, assess market shifts, identify risks and opportunities, and integrate software commercialization objectives into the financial roadmap. Oversee Accounting and Finance operations with emphasis on internal controls, cash flow optimization, and control of expenditures (payroll, capex, etc.). Develop and maintain a forward-looking 12-month budget and quarterly forecast, delivering critical insights and KPI dashboards. Monitor revenue and provide reporting to leaders; ensure data integrity across systems and reports. Manage pass-through costs for production and media and contribute to client engagements and working capital management. Lead strategic projects in capacity planning, contract evaluation, business expansion, and capital allocation. Organize monthly finance meetings, review client contracts, and support billing activities. Drive client profitability and financial health by managing working capital and assessing client credit risk; provide recommendations to senior leadership based on revenue and margin insights. Qualifications
8+ years of progressive experience in advertising finance, including knowledge of client operations and fee engagements (project-based, retainer, time-and-material). Preferred BA in Finance or Accounting; MBA is a plus but not required. High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. Full understanding of accrual accounting, revenue recognition, and GAAP. Proven leadership in managing project, departmental, and enterprise risks related to projects and systems. Strong verbal and written communication; proactive, energetic, and adaptable in a dynamic environment. Advanced time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Excellent interpersonal skills, good listener, and ability to drive change. Advanced Excel, with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint. Seniority level
