Infrastructure Private Equity Associate - Near Term & 2026
Selby Jennings is partnering with a leading global asset manager to hire a Pre-MBA Infrastructure Private Equity Associate for a structured two-year program with a potential third-year extension based on performance and team needs. The targeted start date is June or July 2026.
The infrastructure team invests across the capital stack and focuses on a broad range of sub-sectors, including renewable energy, digital infrastructure, transportation, and waste & water. The Associate will gain hands-on experience across all stages of the investment process.
Key responsibilities
Build detailed financial models, conduct market and industry research, and underwrite new investment opportunities.
Support the due diligence process and help prepare investment committee materials.
Monitor existing portfolio companies and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field with strong academic performance.
1-4 years of investment banking experience, ideally in Power & Utilities, Renewable Energy, Transportation, Industrials, or TMT.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
