Monitor the medication management program and assist with oversight of activity in the medication room under the supervision of the Wellness Manager. Assist the Wellness Manager in supervising and monitoring daily resident care and training for assisted living staff. Assist in monitoring the medication program; keep records updated in the medication administrative files. Set up and assist with self-administration of medication; order and receive medication. Keep medications stored properly and ensure cupboards, carts, and doors are locked. Regularly review medication administration records and report errors to the Wellness Manager. Maintain current medication files and medical records; communicate with pharmacy, families, residents, and management. Assist with updating service plans and monthly care logs; assist residents with doctor’s appointments and travel to appointments. Assist in training assisted living staff and orient new staff; perform room visits and checks; assist with resident care as needed. Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must successfully complete Atria’s Medication Training and all Atria-specified training programs. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings. Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to follow detailed but not overly complex instructions; solve problems in standardized situations. Ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed. Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination records at time of hire. Seniority level
