Overview
Senior Systems Administrator (MSP | Hybrid – Norwalk/White Plains)
Are you an experienced IT professional who thrives in a true hybrid role where no two days look the same? A growing Managed Service Provider in the Norwalk/White Plains area is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join their team supporting law, accounting, investment, and other professional services clients across Fairfield County and New York City.
This is a great opportunity to join a firm known for delivering cutting-edge IT and cybersecurity solutions (HIPAA & FINRA compliant), while enjoying the balance of a 50/50 hybrid schedule (split between home and client sites). If you want exposure to a wide range of technologies, meaningful client-facing work, and the chance to help shape solutions—not just support them—this is the role for you.

Responsibilities
Act as a senior escalation point for Tier 1–2 staff while managing client-facing systems, servers, and networks.
Lead technical projects such as cloud migrations, server upgrades, and cybersecurity implementations.
Deploy and support a wide range of solutions including Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, PBX, and backup/security platforms.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, building tools and scripts to improve efficiency.
Work directly with business leaders and clients, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer experience.
Document all work within ConnectWise and collaborate closely with your team.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in an MSP environment (must-have).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Windows Server.
Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V), networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, SonicWall/Meraki), and cybersecurity tools.
Experience with scripting (PowerShell, VBScript) a plus.
Client-facing presence: able to explain technical solutions clearly and build long-term relationships.
Autonomy, problem-solving mindset, and mentoring of less experienced team members.

Health, dental, and vision insurance
PTO and holidays
401(k) with match
Hybrid schedule (work-from-home and onsite client interaction)
Collaborative, supportive culture with growth opportunities
